May at Inhotim
This May, Inhotim invites you to experience a diverse and engaging program that combines art, culture, and thought-provoking experiences.
On May 25, “What is Desire?” presents fresh perspectives on the topic with a conference and a poetry reading. On the same day, Espaço Igrejinha hosts the second edition of Brumadinho Experience, a fair dedicated to celebrating and promoting local culture, traditions, and cuisine.
For creative family moments, join the Traveling Workshop, held weekly in different areas of the museum. Themed Visits are opportunities to learn more about certain works or topics with the guidance of Inhotim’s Education team. Offered daily, the Panoramic Tour, covers Inhotim’s history and collection.
This May, as part of the 23rd National Museum Week, Inhotim presents a special lineup of activities, including a panoramic tour, themed visit, workshop, and roundtable discussion. The activities are centered on the theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities.”
Don’t miss the group exhibition Maxita Yano, which opened in April. Temporary exhibitions also on display include Homo sapiens sapiens by Pipilotti Rist, Apenas depois da chuva (Only After the Rain) (2024) by Rebeca Carapiá, Tangolomango by Rivane Neuenschwander, Esconjuro (Conjure) by Paulo Nazareth, O Barco (The Boat) (2021) by Grada Kilomba, the group exhibition Ensaios sobre paisagem (Essays on Landscape) and Giro (2023) by Luana Vitra.
