  • What are the opening hours?

    Wednesday to Fryday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
    Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

  • What are the ticket prices?

    The ticket price is BRL 50 (full admission) and BRL 25 (half-priced tickets). You can also buy promotional passports for two or three days of visiting. Get your ticket or passport.

  • How to buy my ticket?

    Tickets must be purchased online through Sympla, the institution’s official ticketing partner. Make sure you can get in by purchasing your ticket in advance.

  • When is the free admission day?

    As of February 2023, Inhotim offers more free-entry days:

    Free Wednesday at Inhotim: every Wednesday, upon prior reservation at Sympla.

    Free Sunday B3 at Inhotim: sponsored by B3, every last Sunday of each month, upon prior reservation at Sympla. Due to the year-end holidays, in December it will be on 12/17/23.

  • Do I qualify for a half-priced ticket?

    Half-priced tickets are ensured for students, seniors over 60 years old, children/teenages from 6 to 18 years old, people with disabilities (and a plus-one), teachers of public and private schools. Check the full list of who is entitled to this advantage and learn more.

  • What is the difference between a ticket and a passport?

    Passports are indicated for those who want to visit Inhotim over two or three days. This way, you make sure to get in and pay less than buying the tickets separately. Get your online ticket.

  • I want to cancel or change the date of my ticket. How do I do?

    The purchase of tickets to visit Inhotim is held entirely through Sympla’s website, just as the whole procedure for exchanging or cancelling your ticket. To change the date of your visit, you have to cancel your order and choose a new date. If you need help, get in touch with the Sympla support team.

  • What are the opening hours of the different places to eat?

    Each place to eat has different opening hours. The Oiticica restaurant, for instance, works from noon to 4 pm. To get to know the opening hours of all of them, check Where to Eat.

  • Is it allowed to picnic at Inhotim?

    Thinking about the conservation of the gardens and galleries, unfortunately, it is not allowed to picnic here, and the entrance with food and beverages is not authorized. Go to one of our places to eat to have lunch or a snack. Check the rules for visiting.

  • How to get to Inhotim?

    By car, you can follow the national highways BR-381 or BR-040 (passing through Piedade do Paraopeba or Topo do Mundo). Check here what is the best option for you. 

    By bus, there are currently two transfer services to get to Inhotim coming from Belo Horizonte. To know more information, prices, and book your transfer, click here.

  • How does the inside transportation work?

    Inside transportation is a service provided to help visiting the higher and further points of Inhotim. There are two options: transportation service over predetermined routes or exclusive transportation, in which a driver accompanies you during a whole day or for one hour. Check the prices of carts and know how to book one here.

  • What are the hours of operation of the inside transportation service?

    The service starts at 10 am and ends at 4 pm since Tuesday to Friday, and at 5 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Check the availability of the service in advance.

  • How can I make a photoshoot at Inhotim?

  • How can I make an event at Inhotim?

  • I work at the press and I would like to make an article about Inhotim. How to proceed?

  • I made some pictures of Inhotim and I would like to send them to you. How to proceed?

    Just send an e-mail with your images to comunicacao@inhotim.org.br. If you publish them on social media, make sure to tag @inhotim!

  • Is there a cloakroom service at Inhotim?

    Due to the new procedures of operation, the cloakroom service is not available at the moment. Check all Covid-19 Protocols.

  • Are animals allowed at Inhotim?

    Thinking about the conservation of gardens and galleries, as well as the visiting experience, it is not allowed to enter with pets, except guide dogs in the company of people with visual impairment. Check other rules for visiting.

  • Is it possible to enter with bike/scooter/skate at Inhotim?

    It is not allowed to enter Inhotim with bikes, scooters, rollerskates, and other sports equipment in order to conserve the gardens and galleries. Stay tuned with the rules for visiting.

  • Is it allowed to enter Inhotim with vehicles?

    Inhotim offers free parking for visitors, but you can only move over the visiting areas by foot or using the inside transportation service, which can be purchased separately. See how to book your cart.

  • Can I bring musical instruments to play at Inhotim?

    Inhotim does not allow entrance with musical instruments.

  • Does Inhotim offer wheelchairs for borrowing?

    Yes, the Institute provides wheelchairs for borrowing. The service depends upon availability, which can be checked at the front desk. Check here all the accessibility actions at Inhotim.

  • Do you recommend hotels or bed and breakfast places in the region?

  • How can I exhibit my work at Inhotim?
