The Education Department at Inhotim invites visitors to take part in a variety of themed visits. Inspired by our artistic and botanical collections, these guided experiences encourage reflection and dialogue on relevant and pressing issues of our time.

• Themed Visit | Edgar Calel: First Perceptions ↓

  Drawing on the exhibition by Guatemalan artist Edgar Calel, participants are invited to experience an educational visit based on what each person feels the first time they enter an exhibition. Through questions and thought-provoking prompts, the tour explores aesthetic experience as both a sensory and collective experience, in dialogue with Calel’s works, which bring a poetic and shared dimension to rituals, memories, and everyday gestures.
