Moving Atelier

The Moving Atelier is a set of actions by the Inhotim Education team that proposes experiences with contemporary art and nature through different artistic languages. In each activity, different spaces at Inhotim become places of experience, coexistence and creation. Discover the Moving Atelier’s schedule for the month of June.

With a two-hour duration, the activities have 25 seatings and are suitable for all ages. To participate, go to the indicated location at 2:00 pm.

Visual Vibrations, with Fernanda Morais and Paula Libertad

Did you know that sound can create visual patterns? This edition of the Moving Atelier invites visitors to experiment and create their visual patterns through sound vibrations and frequencies. The activity will investigate the dialogue between sound, art and sensory perception.

Self-portrait of self-love, with Kaio Fialho

More than a study on the body or a record of ourselves, self-portrait can depict feelings and emotions. Artist Kaio Fialho invites the public to experience drawing as a representation of our inner worlds through a practice of self-observation.

Clay and its circular temperament, Filipe Camato invites Sarah Coeli

Earth and clay are present in human stories, feeding our myths, fables and memories. This edition of thr Moving Atelier features a tactile and sonic experience, based on the experience with clay and its qualities.

Unstable Tasting in Balance, with Julio Gotelip and Amanda Homem

With Tunga’s work True Rouge (2002) as a starting point, visitors are invited to create poetic recipes answering the question: “What flavor does red have?” By searching for the taste of the color red, the ways of dialoging with the artist’s work expand.
