Themed Visit | Climate Change and Inhotim: What Does It Mean to Care for an Open-Air Collection? ↓
As visitors stroll through Inhotim’s gardens, they are invited to observe how artworks respond to and interact with their natural surroundings—whether through the intentional placement within the landscape or the transformation of materials over time, under the influence of sunlight, humidity, or erosion.
The visit brings art and nature closer together, prompting reflection on what it means to care for an open-air collection in an era of accelerating climate instability.
