National Campaign for Suicide Prevention: Skin That Feels, Body That Lives
In observance of Brazil’s Yellow September—the national campaign for suicide prevention and mental health awareness—Inhotim presents a program open to both visitors and collaborators. Organized by GINGA, Inhotim’s Racial Equity Committee, together with the People Management Department, the initiative features activities that honor self-care, body awareness, and the cultivation of positive self-esteem, with a special focus on practices centered on the care of Black skin.

Conversation Circle| Identity, Mental Health and Well-Being ↓
Dr. Monalisa Nunes, a dermatologist active in racial, feminist and vegan causes, and Fábio Lopes, a tattoo artist specializing in Black skin, discuss the impact that skin health and the celebration of Black aesthetics can have on emotional well-being. The conversation will explore the intersection of science, aesthetics, and identity, addressing everything from specific dermatological care to the importance of recognizing and celebrating one’s own image as a way to strengthen self-esteem and mental health.

This class invites participants to engage in breathing, stretching and meditation practices that help reduce stress, boost energy, and deepen connection with the
body. Yoga is offered here as a tool for well-being and emotional balance, complementing the morning’s program by integrating body and mind.
