The simplest questions can lead to the most unexpected reflections. This is precisely the purpose of “What is…?”. More than finding answers, the program aims to open the possibility of new perspectives based on different languages ​​and approaches to the topic.

In August, the program will take place on the 31st, with the theme “What is imagination?” On this occasion, visitors will meet with artist, educator, and curator Rosana Paulino (SP) and multifaceted artist and transgender pastor Ventura Profana (BA). Each answers the question in their own way: Rosana with a conversation and Ventura with a sermon.

“I think my career began when I was a child,” says Rosana Paulino, referring to the place of imagination and reinvention as structural in her work. In her works, the archive is a place of openness to reparation and hope through a gesture that reimagines history.
