Meetings with Inhotim | Poytã Imakã Tãnara
Every month, Inhotim’s Educators invite communities from Brumadinho and the surrounding areas to take part in activities that seek to promote dialogues and connection with the Institute.
The name Poytã Imakã Tãnara means Forgive us, Mother Nature in the Pataxó language. This September’s Meetings with Inhotim invites indigenous ethnic groups living in the Brumadinho territory for a day of exchanges, practices and sharing, bringing reflections on nature and sustainable economy. At the foot of the Tamboril tree, and with an indigenous crafts fair, the meeting allows us to reflect on how we deal with local fauna and flora.
