Anyone fascinated by orchids simply must visit this garden dedicated to Vanda orchids. Whether for the beauty of their flowers or their aerial roots, which absorb moisture from the air, they are one of the most appreciated groups by the public.
Originating in Southeast Asia and Australia, they have adapted excellently to cultivation in Brazil. The area, on the banks of Lago Novo, is home to several species (including some at risk of extinction) and hybrids (crossbreeds of different species).
