The iconic tamboril tree, also known as "monkey ear," is located in the central area of Inhotim and is no less than 80 to 100 years old. It is already a mature tree, about 20 meters tall, with a wide, leafy canopy that provides excellent shade in the summer for those needing a break from their walk. Its softwood is used in the manufacture of boats and canoes.
