Psicopompo Cooking Crystal
2010
Steel, chromated water, quartz crystal, iron, magnet, epoxy resin, and glass.
Em Psicopompo Cooking Crystal (2010) we observe the construction of an image that seems to be an instant taken out of the context of a larger story, which we do not know. The iron and steel portal is open and its door is covered with magnets. Portals are, in a mystical reading, the representation of moments of energetic transformation, as are magnets, which also deal with energy fields.
At the entrance to the portal, there is a silhouette of a human body, constructed from metal cables and filled with crystals and glass containers containing yellow liquid and extruded resin. The cables, while supporting this body, also keep it attached to the wooden structure, typical of marionettes.
