Panacea Phantastica (2003-2008) brings together tiles depicting 50 types of hallucinogenic plants from various parts of the world, in a kind of botanical catalog. The work was originally conceived as a multiple, made in a limited edition, which allows for different applications, as does the raw material itself, the tile.
Therefore, it can be adapted to architecture, as in the Inhotim Institute, where it covers a bench at the entrance to the Gallery. On one of the tiles, a text suggests the relationship between the hallucinogenic effects of plants and the consequent change in the perception of what is around us, effects that can also be provoked by art.
