The characteristic scent of Cattleya walkerianaThe orchid species *Cildo Meireles*, one of the most prized by collectors, can be experienced in this garden during the months of April and May, when it is in bloom. There are over 17 orchids planted in 48 palm trees and distributed throughout the space between the Cildo Meireles and Fonte galleries.
Known as the queen of the Cerrado, it is native to Minas Gerais and 5 other Brazilian states. All the orchids in the Largo were donated by Orchid Brazil.
