The unpublished work Contraplano (2026)"The exhibition by Lais Myrrha" is part of the program marking the beginning of Inhotim's 20th anniversary celebrations.
Curated by Douglas de Freitas, the open-air sculpture is located at one of the highest points in the park, on the orange visitation axis, occupying an area of approximately 250 m².²Inserted directly into the landscape, the work establishes a dialogue with the territory, the architecture, and the public's paths.
By highlighting the tension between the visible and the invisible, presence and absence, Contraplano It acts upon spatial perception and proposes a reconfiguration of the point of view. The work is part of the artist's research on structures, ruins, and systems of representation, operating as a device that activates the visitor's body and its relationship with space.
The artwork “Contraplano” has Vale as its Master Sponsor, a strategic partnership with Nubank, and silver sponsorship from On Brasil, through the Rouanet Law.
