Inaugurated in 2012 with a design by Rizoma Arquitetura, it is one of the largest galleries at the Inhotim Institute, housing a broad panorama of Tunga's work. The building, which resembles a glass box set within the forest, proposes a spatial configuration that avoids the experience of the white cube: defined paths, imposed narratives, artificial lighting, and total separation of the artworks from their context.

The irregular topography of the land is reflected in the interior of the building, in spaces with different levels and ceiling heights, adapting to the technical needs of each project. Outside, the opening that surrounds the gallery serves as an observation point of the surrounding nature.
