Designed by architect Paulo Orsini, the Praça Gallery was inaugurated in 2004. This is one of the most visited galleries in Inhotim, and also serves as a meeting point. Its name refers to its central location, situated between the reception area, the Inhotim Design Shop, and the intersection of the three visitor axes.

Three works are on long-term display in this gallery: Forty Part Motet (2001) by Janet Cardiff, Abre a porta (2006) and Rodoviária de Brumadinho (2005) by John Ahearn & Rigoberto Torres. The Praça Gallery also has a room and a covered space for temporary exhibitions.
