The Claudia Andujar Gallery opened in 2015, with a design by the Arquitetos Associados office. The space brings together more than 400 works by the Swiss photographer based in Brazil, who from 1950 to 2010 documented the world of the Yanomami, an indigenous people who live in the northern Amazon rainforest. Divided into three exhibition modules – A Terra; O Homem; is O ConflitoIn 2019, the space received the installation Yano-a, by the artist in partnership with the duo Gisela Motta and Leandro Lima, which takes as its starting point a photograph taken by Andujar in the 1970s. In reference to the brick cladding that covers the structure, the Yanomami, at the time of its opening, named it Maxita Yano (earth house).
