With five decades of production, Dan Graham's works explore the difference between sculpture and architecture, using mediums such as photography, performance, video, and installations. site-specificAn example of his work is the series Pavilion, initiated in the late 1970s, in which (geometric or curved) mirrored glass structures combine the interior with the exterior by incorporating the surrounding space, disorienting the public's perception. Among its main exhibitions are retrospective shows at the Walker Art Center (USA), Whitney Museum of American Art (USA), The Museum of Contemporary Art of Los Angeles (USA), Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris (France), and Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves (Portugal).
