The works of John Ahearn & Rigoberto Torres depict the customs and traditions of communities near the Inhotim Institute. Abre a porta (2006) how much Rodoviária de Brumadinho (2005) are the result of a long process of immersion by the duo in the daily life of Brumadinho.

In the mural to the side, we see a representation of a religious procession of African origin, formed by members of local Congado and Moçambique groups. The mural below represents the city's bus station, which, in addition to being a terminal, is also a space for social interaction: local artists perform and people dance to the sound of forró, a traditional Brazilian rhythm.
