Behind the beauty of the plants lies intense and complex gardening work to maintain existing green areas and produce plants in the Educational Nursery. There is also a constant effort to build new landscaped areas for visitors. This work is carried out daily by an in-house team, made up of gardeners, garden managers, and other professionals in the field.

The maintenance of green areas consists of the daily execution of basic activities such as pruning, small plantings, mowing, lawn cutting, transplanting, manual watering, cleaning, and weeding. This work also includes a regular plan for organic and chemical fertilization, as well as preventive and corrective control of pests and diseases in plants. This sector is also responsible for the weekly production of floral arrangements to decorate the visitor areas.
