Education
Training
With a focus on youth empowerment, the Training Program uses Inhotim's botanical and artistic collections as a starting point for research, reflection, and experimentation. Its activities are linked to the municipality of Brumadinho, the main area of operation and object of investigation for the construction of knowledge and the practice of mediation.
Inhotim Science Center
Science is an essential tool for understanding contemporary environmental issues. It was based on this premise that the Inhotim Institute created this space to serve spontaneous visitors, students, and teachers, aiming to popularize scientific knowledge and disseminate environmental information in a playful way. Meetings can take place in the gardens, around galleries, in the theater lobby, and other locations.
Young Environmental Agents
If young people are the present and the future of the planet, why shouldn't they be the protagonists in raising environmental awareness? The Young Environmental Agents program is an ongoing training program for young people from Brumadinho, who are invited to develop actions in favor of the environment, based on the artistic and botanical collections of the Inhotim Institute and the local territory.
In 2025, the Young Environmental Agents program will have Vale as its Master Sponsor and will count on the Gold Sponsorship of Volvo and Petronas, and the Silver Sponsorship of C6 Bank and Instituto Unimed-BH through the Federal Law for Cultural Incentive.
Inhotim Laboratory
What if these same young people were also the characters in their own creative production? The Inhotim Laboratory Program is an ongoing training program for young people from Brumadinho, who receive support for experimenting with various artistic languages through visits and discussions about the museum and Botanical Garden's collection. Working collaboratively, participants reflect on contemporary issues such as the recognition and construction of identities, the perception of the community and local culture, and the appreciation of memory and cultural heritage.
In 2025, the Inhotim Laboratory will have Vale as its Master Sponsor, and Shell as its Master Sponsor, through the Federal Law for Cultural Incentive. Access the call for proposals and the registration form here.
