September at Inhotim

In September, diverse experiences encompassing art, nature, music, and education will fill Inhotim's programming. Workshops, guided tours, meetings, and presentations will take place in various spaces throughout Inhotim during the month, including activities from the Spring of Museums.

Among the highlights are the fifth edition of Experiência Brumadinho , a fair dedicated to promoting the city's culture, traditions, and gastronomy, and the participation of the Inhotim Adult Choir in the International Choir Festival in Sabará.

The Education program brings together various editions of the Circulating Workshop , with proposals that address memory, indigenous cultures, ancestry, capoeira, and the relationships between museums and the community. In the Conversations about the Collection, works and gardens gain new perspectives in meetings dedicated to Hélio Oiticica, Dalton Paula, the Veredas Garden, and accessibility in cultural spaces. Some activities are part of the Spring of Museums.

Be sure to visit the long-running exhibitions on display, such as Dupla cura, by Dalton Paula; Tororoma (2026), by David Jesus of the Birth; Contraplano (2026), by Lais Myrrha; Ru Jub’ulik Achik’ – Aromas de um sonho, by Edgar Calel; Esconjuro, by Paulo Nazareth; O Barco (2021), by Grada Kilomba; Giro (2023), by Luana Vitra; Homo sapiens sapiens, by Pipilotti Rist; is Apenas depois da chuva (2024), by Rebeca Carapiá.

In September, Inhotim is open from Wednesday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 16:30 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 9:30 am to 17:30 pm.

Admission is free on Wednesdays and on the last Sunday of the month, September 27th, with advance booking through Sympla. Residents of Brumadinho registered in the Nosso Inhotim program also have free access.
