Traveling Workshop

The Circulating Workshop is a series of activities by the Inhotim Education team that proposes experiences with contemporary art and nature through different artistic languages. In each activity, different spaces within Inhotim become places for experience, interaction, and creation.

Planted Portrait

By Diu and Guilherme Barreto

A unique botanical drawing workshop. Let's imagine the appearance of plants found in the Educational Nursery based on their descriptions. Names, physical characteristics, and uses in popular culture will help us imagine what these beings look like, in an experience that blends art and science.

August 3th and 4th, at 14pm

25 places available | Duration: 2 hours | Location: Educational Nursery | Registration on site from 14 PM | Rating: Suitable for all ages

Impossible Folds

By Daniela Brandão

Using Amilcar de Castro's untitled sculpture as a reference, the public will consider how different materials respond to gesture, in a workshop that uses acetate sheets to make folds, creating diverse geometric compositions.

August 10th and 11th, at 14pm

25 places available | Duration: 2 hours | Location: Amilcar de Castro, untitled (2001) [A2] | Registration on site from 14 pm | Rating: Suitable for all ages

Inventing Landscapes

By Raiany Costa and Marcos Siqueira (MG)

How do human actions and the passage of time transform the landscapes we see? Educator Raiany Costa and artist Marcos Siqueira invite participants to experiment with natural paints to invent landscapes that reside in our individual and collective imaginations.
