The Circulating Atelier understands all the spaces of the museum and botanical garden as places of experience that involve diverse artistic languages. Each week, our atelier migrates to a different location, investigating how each space helps us discover ways to create and experience art and nature.

Abstract Writing, by Victória Brandão ↓
Rebeca Carapiá's artistic work involves the development of a new language, generally expressed through organic forms that invite us to create other types of interpretation. Inspired by the work Only After the Rain (2024), the public is invited to invent new uses for words through the bending and malleability of wire.

What the Earth has to tell us, by Filipe Camato ↓
Inspired by Doug Aitken's work Sonic Pavilion (2009), participants will reflect on the connection between the Krenak people and the Earth. Ceramic pots will be created and, like seashells, will be used to listen to sounds and feel body vibrations, promoting a unique and profound sensory experience.

Drawings of the Invisible, by Brenno Theotônio ↓
What designs and forms are hidden in the nature of Inhotim? Inspired by the work of artist Paulo Desana, participants will observe the environment with a new perspective, transforming nature into a source of artistic creation. Through drawing, the public will be encouraged to explore paths, open new perspectives, and reconnect with the space around them.

Impossible Folds, by Daniela Brandão ↓
Using Amilcar de Castro's untitled sculpture as a reference, the Inhotim Education team invites the public to consider how different materials respond to our gestures, in a workshop that uses acetate sheets to create folds, resulting in diverse geometric compositions.
