Inhotim has a specialized technical team to ensure that the works are exhibited in their entirety, respecting the artist's wishes and the conservation standards established by international criteria. Exhibited outdoors and in galleries, the works require constant monitoring by the team, always in collaboration with the artists and their studios, ensuring the safekeeping, documentation, conservation, and restoration of the works. 

The Institute has a physical structure comprised of four storage areas, a production workshop, and a restoration workshop. There is a protocol for preventative conservation measures, and inspection and diagnostic visits are frequently conducted to assess the necessary procedures for the maintenance and restoration of the spaces and artworks.
