Conversation with Rodrigo Moura, Júlia Rebouças and Paulo Maia. As members of Instituto Inhotims curatorial team, in 2013 Rodrigo and Júlia carried out projects outside the institutional scope and are now sharing their experiences with the public. Together with researcher Paulo Maia, Rodrigo Moura curated the show Estado Oculto as part of the 43rd Salón (inter)Nacional de Artistas de Colombia, in Medellín. The exhibition points out similarities between the fields of contemporary art and indigenous visuality. For her part, Júlia Rebouças is one of the adjunct curators of the 9th Bienal do Mercosul / Porto Alegre, which in this edition has the title Se o clima for favorável and deals with the relation between culture and nature. The conversation aims to revisit curatorial and research strategies, while also considering the documentation of the exhibition setup. The conversation relies on the partnership with the Museu Mineiro.
